This Atlanta home was originally published in House and Home magazine in 1956. The current owners wished to renovate the kitchen and to restore the open-plan circulation that makes this home unique. The 2,500 square foot renovation enables the growing family to better utilize the existing footprint of the home while honoring its original open- plan design intent. Renovation highlights include new skylights, uncovering the existing brick fireplace, new cabinets, new appliances and new hardwood floors.
